Our Committee

Our committee members volunteer their time and experience to ensure Honeywood continues to be a great place. All of our members live in Wandi, and each bring their unique skills and perspective to the group.

The committee consists of 4 executive positions, President, Treasurer, Secretary & Vice President as well as a number of non-executive roles as determined by the committee.

We try to allocate all non-executive committee members specific portfolios that align with their personal skills or interests – such as social media, pets, family, the environment, neighbourhood watch or local business engagement.

If you are interested in becoming part of the committee, we always welcome nominations. Executive roles are allocated at our AGM (check here for dates) but non-executive members may join the committee at any time. To nominate to join the committee, please complete our nomination form and we’ll be in touch.

Current Committee Members

Ross Minney

President

Hi, I’m Ross and I’ve been a committee member of the Honeywood Residents Group since it was started in 2014. I love being a part of our vibrant community and I hope I will be able to make a positive impact during my time as President.

Matt Clarke

Vice President

You might recognise Matt from his work volunteering with the Mandogalup Fire Brigade. Matt lives in Honeywood with his wife Amy and two children.

Lakshmi K

Treasurer

I moved to this picturesque neighbourhood in March 2020. I raised my hand up to volunteer to meet new people, get to know the community, and to put my recently acquired bookkeeping skills to the test. Thrilled to be part of an energetic and vibrant group!

Jo Minney

Secretary & Website Portfolio

Hi, my name is Jo and I am proud to be one of the founding members of the Honeywood Residents Group. I have served on the committee in a number of roles since its inception in 2014, but currently I’m focused on making our website a useful tool for our residents. I’m easily recognisable as I ride around the estate on my electric scooter with my pink & purple hair, and you may have seen or met me at one of our past events as I have been running the Carols by Candlelight for a number of years (and hope to do so again one day!) and formerly managed the Honeywood Kids Choir.

Emma McCabe

Events Officer

My name is Emma and I have lived in Honeywood for nearly 5 years and have been part of the Honeywood Residents Group committee for 2 years. I love the area and the community and joined the committee because I enjoy giving back to my community, I enjoy seeing our events come together and everyone having a good time and I get to meet and work with an amazing group of people on the committee!

Ashley Mufunda

Health and Wellbeing

Ashley loves seeing communities thrive. She is a mum of 1 and wife. Moved to Honeywood 2 years ago. Currently working for Spartan first as an Exercise Scientist and also undertaking studies to complete Masters of public health and Grad dip in Heath promotion.

Lenore Jepsen

General Committee Member

Lenore is a full time working single mum of two teenagers. She is community orientated, and is very involved in her kids’ schools and sports as well. Lenore is an avid pet lover and manages the “Pets of Honeywood” Facebook group. She is very keen to give back to and help out the amazing Honeywood community.
